Was looking around for a radiator for my tow pig, 2001 2500 suburban, and found an all aluminum 3 row radiator on Amazon for $2xx. Now I usually buy my parts from Napa if I can but if this is the same price I see it as a win win ?

Anyone ever seen or used these or know where they are made ?

What brand?

I've tried two cheap all aluminum radiators. One $99 shipped special off ebay for my Sentra. The filler neck was too small for the suction part of the cap to work so I had to get a shop to weld a Vibrant fill neck in it's place. Works well otherwise, keeps the V6 swap cool.

The other is a Liland Global brand off RockAuto for my '98 K1500. It dropped right in and I've been running it a couple weeks now, no issues. I did have to buy a couple adapters for the trans cooler line fittings as they didn't match what was on the truck, but otherwise I'm happy with the $100 extra I spent on it compared to the cheapest once I could find locally. Should last longer and it's a 2 row (2" vs the stock 1.25").

Thicker isn't necessarily better when it comes to rads. Your rate of heat exchange slows down with each core as the temperature of the air passing through the rad climbs. You're better off with a single core and high fin density than a two core setup with a low fin density.
