Can be an open trailer, paint on the car isn't the greatest. Don't have the time to do a fly n drive and don't care to tempt fate during the winter.
I know about UShip, any other suggestions? Anyone heading this way with an empty trailer?

It was a Florida car and wasn't run in the winter in MA. Had a friend inspect it, not rusty
I used Montway when I shipped a car from Cleveland to my nephew in Nebraska. Picked up on friday and delivered monday. No issues and no problems. It was about $1K

Was that open or enclosed trailer? This car is relatively cheap, I'd rather not spend half the cost of the car to transport it to me...

Boston to Denver is nearly 2,000 miles. Getting it done for 50cents per miles is a good target for open trailer so that's still gonna be $1k.
Cleveland to mid Nebraska is probably 900 miles. A $1k price is cheap for covered. My guess is it was open trailer.
IIRC the buyer of my S2k used Montway to have the car shipped to TX. No idea about the price, though.
The experience was better than I had when trying to uShip (ie, driver showed up, eventually), but the dance was very similar with them taking quite a while to actually find a driver and doing the "oh yeah, we'll confirm pickup tonight". Plus the buyer was adamant that she told them there is no way that they could pick up the car from my place with an eighteen wheeler and they assured her they took that into account. I leave it to everybody's imagination as to what the driver showed up in.
That said, once the driver was confirmed, the experience was good from my end - driver got in touch in good time, kept me up to date where he was when he was on the way out here and all that.
I think Montway is a broker, so the usual issue with them having to find someone who'd accept their price applies.
