I'm looking to add adjustable perches to my 318ti, on the GRM budget.

A while ago you couldn't swing a dead cat on ebay without hitting an auction for OBX coil overs.....I know the springs are probably JUNK, but I'm going to use hypercoil springs for my app.

I just don't want to spend $450 to buy a set of ground control sleeves and ERS when you can find used hypercoil springs for $20-50 a pair and potentially be in under the 100 mark on a set of adjustable perch springs.

There are a multitude of other china knock off coil overs on ebay, but at $25 for the entire set, it's go me wondering if the sleeves are made of recycled paper.

Anyone know where a set of sleeves might be hiding I can buy? I've got a lathe so I can trim them anyway I need.

And while you are here, I'm looking for a good starting place for spring rates on a 318ti that should soon have a M50 in the front of it (also on the CHEAP)

We did a setup like this on my brother's e30 325is (M50 swapped).

We just ordered the cheapest "coilover" set we could find. Got some skunk2 525lb springs for the front and Eibach ERS 750lb for the rear. We ended up only using the adjusters in the front and just stuck the rear springs between the stock spring nubs. Works awesome and I would recommend similar spring rates for your ti if you're after an aggressive setup.

Oh, you said Koni... doh: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/KON-3000000005/

If you search the googles you can find a set for all Koni shock body diameters.

I'm running cheap ass Cosmos on my ti over my Konis. I had to mod the front Koni slightly, but they work. I also run Vorshlag camber plates, so my suspension best reflects both ends of the cost spectrum.

x2 on the Cosmo perches and springs - $160 shipped to my door. I had to run the top hats through with the lathe to use Bilstein Sports (large diameter shaft on the shock) Konis, KYB, Boge etc should work with no mods.

if you want custom spring rates, search or post a WTB on www.sccaforums.com, honda-tech or other boards that racers frequent.

Carrera perches are top quality and available at a lot of race supply sites.

EDIT; Also, call GC and check if they will sell you just the threaded sleeves and perches: http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?p=39220601
