I used an edger I found at lowes on the corolla that is fiber reinforced, it's super stiff and durable. I pop riveted it on, it takes plenty of scrapes and doesn't show it at all. The picture of my corolla in readers rides shows it ok.

the lower plastic front spoiler air dam from the 1st gen S-10's ('82-'93) are dirt cheap even new from the aftermarket body shop suppliers (<$20), and you can find them in junkyards everywhere.

I've thought about buying one from a different vehicle to then install on our Sequoia. The one that comes on an F250 looks like it might work. What would this piece (the black plastic dam) be called in Ford parlance?
