This one popped up locally, and the price is definitely right, question is, if the radiator is "blown" and doesn't hold fluid, can that be a sign of a deeper issue? Thermostat? Other???
This is the response I got to from the seller: "The radiator blew. It's leaking out of the side. Pour in, pour out kind of deal."

I don't think '93 is the year to have but if the price is right who cares.
I bought my '95 Turbo wagon w/169k for $600 and drove it home.
Alot of those have blown head gaskets, other than that idk.
next question.. how hard is it to replace the Head Gasket on one?
If the engine is the same as in the V70 (I have a 1999) it doesn't look like it should be that hard.
Veryt seldom do they have head gasket problems, unless they have been heated pretty badly. The head job, if needed, is not cake, but is certainly do-able if you have some experience. Its not something I would recommend for a first timer.
The radiators, like all plastic radiators, fail regularly. If it wasn't baked too badly when the rad broke, its probably ok. If he drove it till it made squeaking noises, its berkeleyed. Only way to know is to put a rad in and drive it.
