It's pretty spendy everywhere. There are some places that tell you it is pretty cheap in price, but then the shipping is around $40, which is absurd for some hoses.

an alternate thought that I had was to go with something from Amazon, but the only kids they have are cheapo silicone hoses. How do you think these kits would fare?

Keep in mind that the cheap kits usually don't include the small diameter hoses, which are often the ones that end up bursting.

That's why I'm in this boat. It's my "back of head to oil cooler" line that consploded. The problem with priority Mazda is the location. Shipping to m in the PNW is grotesque. 
I ordered from realmazdaparts last night. Based in Arizona I think. Shipping was $8, instead of $40.
