So the footage itself is cool and fun to watch, but check out the detection system that appears to be integrated into his rear view camera. It has blind spot monitoring and points out cars coming up behind. Around 12 minutes when he's being passed really shows it off.

That was very cool. His 'Vette is as fast as some of the protoypes.
I wonder if it was inspired by the rearview mirror from an early 2000s racing game called "midnight club." Instead of showing an actual rearview mirror, it would show lights of different sizes to show you where the cars are behind you.

A little bit. It came out around the beginning of last season (maybe exactly one season ago), IIRC. Still very cool though.

yeah … the GT LeMans leader finished ahead of the PC class winner ...
They have had that for a few years now. The C6 R definitely had it.
