Pretty much every car would blow a 125 amp fuse during cranking. I rarely see less than 180a during cranking and sometimes over 400.  I test starting current on probably a dozen cars each class, each semester when I teach an intro electrical class. I have two such classes right now and will probably test cranking amps in the next 2-3 weeks. I can throw a bunch of specific examples in here at that time if anyone's looking. There is also such a thing as 'slow blow' fuses that can pass currents higher than their rating for a short time without blowing. No fuse works instantaneously but usually it would be way less than 1 second for an 'over current' to blow a regular fuse.

It may have been 200amp or higher not entirely certain now, I purchased 2 of them about 5 years ago when I moved the battery and one has lived in the glove compartment. Fairly modern car, 99 Intrepid with a v6 so nothing high torque at all. I should have pictures somewhere of how everything was laid out. Fairly simple.
