Is this thing as awesome as the Engrish description makes it sound? Anyone tried this out?

No idea, but I may have just found a Chinese Tech goldmine. Thanks!

And here I was expecting a canoe!

Have you ordered from there before?

At that price, just get an AIM Solo for 400 +/-

There is a decent review on MotoIQ site. Some reviews I read mention steep learning curve and some glitches but overall a nice unit with potential. I agree with amg_rx7 though. AIM makes some good products with even better software. I had a RT DL 90 and then an AIM EVO4 with dash. Both were good but the software from AIM made it my preferred choice.

I have a Solo... fantastic little thing. Configurable screens, predictive lap timing, etc. Dead nuts accurate to my scored lap times from my transponder. Battery or wired. Very tough too. Mine lived thru a rollover wreck where it came off it's base and bounced around the car. Still works fine. The software is AIM's professional race analysis stuff and it's UI can challenge the already questionable sensibilities of Italian software engineers but once you get used to it - damn powerful.

I've got an older Qstarz. Terrible accuracy. According to it, I spend most of my track time driving around in the desert. But it was cheap, so I didn't throw away a lot of money.

I have ordered from them before; It's kinda like Chinese eBay in that you're really dealing with individual Chinese sellers, not necessarily a big company. I've ordered peltier air chiller (which I use to feed cold air to my helmet, works ok) key blanks, a code reader, "angel eyes" headlights, all of which arrived in a week or 2 marked "Gift". So far I've been pleased with what you get, certainly for the money.
