My `92 VW Golf was built in the Puebla plant. I've heard over at vwvortex that the build quality of the Mexican cars was inconsistent, but mine's been almost bullet-proof. To be honest, I've heard that the Puebla cars are either absolutely solid, or complete lemons. Nothing in-between.

Feel free to start all those Friday/Monday assembly plant jokes...

Those Fiat 500s are cool little cars. Didn't they test some performance version of one on Top Gear? If that is the car I am thinking of it was pretty sweet!
