playing with next (used) car purchase ideas, i was pretty hell-bent on either an ATS 2.0T RWD 6MT or a Challenger RT Plus, because no matter how perfect i think it is, i just can't justify the expen$$$e of an SS Sedan 6MT.
then it dawned on me that since we'll still have the Ody and the E60 in the fleet, i don't really need a family-capable car. now i'm thinking NA8 or NB with a hardtop and a Torsen and a Paco lift kit for winter because Michigan. but that doesn't come anywhere close to my desire for being pushed back in the seat.
so now i'm thinking about corvettes, and wondering which cities' CL's I should be searching. ATL and Los Angeles are two obvious choices, but where else might there be a high number of corvettes?
Kerbeck in Atlantic City is the or has been the largest corvette dealer.
I believe every Corvette is required to return to Bowling Green annually or risk expulsion. So it likely has a high average density of Corvettes but they are mostly transients.
Of course you will find lots in Detroit and surrounding areas.
Why travel when the Corvette King is right in your backyard?
I would assume FL too? All the retires and their corvettes lol

I clicked on this thread really hoping that you had made a visual graph with actual data of corvette density.

Someone with some spare time could probably do something using sales by dealer as a base.
This is not a linear graph.

Houston and Chicago come to mind when I think of abundance of LS powered vehicles.

Also because Michigan don't forget to look in Ontario. I've seen a lot of cars that are the same price (number) here as there but a $30,000 Vette from here is only $23k to you

Texas definitely seems like Corvette country to me, but that's based on nothing but stereotypes and biases.

Hi volume dealers usually sell outside of their city. Aggressive Corvette shoppers would naturally pit one dealer against another so just because a high volume dealer sells a large number it means little since small volume dealers could have combined sales in excess of a single high volume dealership.
They could - but it's a pretty long tail. Dealers 10-20 combined sold as many as Dealer 1. Dealer 30 sold less than 8% the number of Corvettes that Dealer 1 did. That would take a lot of small dealers.
It's the only data I found. If you want to buy the Corvette registration database from SEMA, it'll obviously be more accurate.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
Good point, however since there are 3600 GM dealers in America. 50 is a really small number.
Minnesota didn’t make the top 50 even though we have the # 10 city population size and we’re about the 10 most populous state.
Three dealerships close by sell about 50 Corvettes annually which would put them around the top 70 I suspect the state of Minnesota by itself would be in the top 30 sales.
The second link has the top 100.

Some googling and Florida is the answer.
