For the Kentuckiana crowd, farting around CL at work today, stumbled upon this.

1979 Fiat Spider Pininfarina

I'm in no position to buy this car, but I figured I would pass it along to you guys. It looks to have been sitting for quite awhile, but it appears to be pretty solid. I've never seen a Pininfarina Spider, course I haven't seen many Spiders, either.

I'm really digging the lines on this car. A year ago I wouldn't have looked twice at a Fiat, you guys are rubbing off on me.

FYI Salem, IN is about 30 to 45 minutes north of Louisville off I65. It's a little on the long side, but within Challenge budget, I'd just wanna give it a tune up, give the brakes a once over, and some new tires. Drop the top and hit the road in your impossible-to-find-parts-for italian car.

Nice car. Seems a little pricey for the condition. I spent some time and effort in the late 90's trying to locate the owner of a 2000 marked "for sale" but abandoned in town. I loved the look of the interior, which I feel is far classier than the MGB.

that's about $1000 over priced IMO, I learned a lot buying mine last year
