Classic 1973 240Z

After owning the vehicle for over 30 years (original owner) I am ready to part with the car and need to get an appraisal on the car. Can anyone help me connect with someone that can give me a fair appraisal. I am located in Anaheim Hill, CA (Orange County/Southern California). Even thought the vehicle has not been restored, it is in good-excellent condition and runs well. Over the past 15-20 years we have only driven the car occassionally. But, have kept the car registered and insured for those occassional car rides. If you can give me some advise to how to go about marketing this vehicle will be appreciated. Thanks, Karen

Karen,

Compare yours to what is being sold on ebay. That will give you a fair idea. I think ebayers pay more than what some of those cars are worth. Although the trouble sometimes is getting those ebayers to show up with cash.

Or is this just a way to get all the datsun guys drooling? Orange county, no rust, original shape, original owner, rarely driven.........uh huh. I suppose it has a set of libre's and an original BRE front spoiler too? Just Kidding.

I tried my darnest to buy an early Z (71-72) from a lady in the town I live in. Her daddy bought her the car new. They didn't really drive the car anymore and her kids didn't want to be seen in it. I still drive by the house on occaision and haven't seen the car since not long after I made the call. I suspect she sold it. BTW have you ever lived in Spartanburg, SC?

I hate fleabay. I would try a good Z car forum.
