Close to West Palm Beach, FL? Need a favor

Any GRMer lives in or close to West Palm Beach, FL? I need a proxy to put some hands and eyes on a car at a dealership.

I'll reimburse you for your time looking it over and putting in a test drive.

The salesman you met for the test drive was awesome! He was a straight-shooter and was out sick right after I spoke to you. I was handed off to the Finance "I'm not a car guy" Manager and the "Boss".

Those last pictures you sent tipped me to toward passing. The dealership help it along by saying "meh, the rotors are good and the bodywork isn't that bad". The second set of pictures I requested showed some additional issues. The trunk seal should not come out when you open the trunk . . . LOL! It didn't help they started the whole pushy "my boss" thing.

Since their price was no haggle, I asked them to correct the issues you and the inspector pointed out. They balked  and responded with "as is where is . . . so we need a decision now". So I walked . . .

Hahaha! The boss is a bmw nerd. He has an older m5 that has been gone through complete with brake ducting. That’s a load of bull. I did like the sales guy I dealt with. 

I'm going to put "The trunk seal should not come out when you open the trunk" into my file of Words of Wisdom From GRM.

I kid you not. They sent me a picture of the trunk seal laying over in the trunk.

If he was, he should've known better to let that car on his lot without tending to issues it has.
