CNBC "reporting" on nitrous oxide
I'm surprised they didn't also claim that it could make your floorboard come un-riveted.

I mean, like, ZOMG, I though you could just add a 500 shot of nitrous and everything would be just fine with your motor. I'm SO GLAD CNBC set me straight on that.

Meg looks like she was once a dom, so let her do it.

Say what you will but I, for one, will be fitting my car with multiple Power Belts.
"When people [are] running NOS in racing," Allen said, "They would come back into the pit, take that motor completely apart and rebuild it before the next run."
Jeff Allen's credibility just dropped to zero with that statement.
In reply to jstein77:
Finally, someone that realized that they were talking NOS.
Not Nitrous, or Nitrous Oxide.
But NOS.
If they were talking about Nitrous Oxide, they would have pointed out that it originated back in the late 18th century, for various medical reasons.
And for internal combustion engines, German aircraft used it well before "race cars" did.
NOS on the other hand. Clearly only for race cars. And manifold danger. And the all of the parts falling off an engine- just like the illustration.

Yep, confusing NOS with Nitro Methane is a very bad thing.

Especially when you're trying to refill your whippetizer.

You even have to get that medical grade NAWZZZ when you go to do that......automotive will effin kill you thanks to the sulfur in it.
Yo, forget NAWZ. You need to go bolt a turbo onto that engine. Buying a big turbo and bolting it on to your stock engine is the only "safe" way to make 500hp. Duh.
Naws is bad for an engine, just like fewl is bad for an engine. You have one guy that looks like a washed up Beach Boy and that dork The Swag from Pinks saying it's bad. I guess I won't be watching this show, it's full of stoopid.
