I could be wrong but I seem to remember a previous conversation stating that they might be printed and shipped out of Nashville.

Kentucky, actually. Lebanon Junction, to be exact.
They actually get mailed from various places. If you're near Kentucky, it probably got mailed from the printing plant. More than a state or two any, though, it probably got trucked to a local mail hub and inserted into the mail system from there. Ours show up in our mailboxes in Florida about 7-8 days after we get our shipped copies to the office, which is just a day or two after the press run. It's really a fascinating process. I love visiting the printer and taking the tour, but, sadly, they don't make you wear a hard hat.
It was a guess but based on JGs answer I remember that the "previous conversation" was The Suddard Summer Vacation stopped off at The Printer while headed to Michigan in the old Benz.
I assume there will be a red "Porsche" on the cover.
In the past the challenge issue arrived in February. This year the event was one month earlier and the magazine is expected to arrive two months earlier. I like that math! It's like a Christmas miracle.
The $2016 issue will now arrive in 2016.

Normally I check the mail like biweekly. Checked everyday this week and only got disappointment.
Do you guys send out calendars still? If not, I'll have to buy one for my office wall.
mine always seems toward the end of the list for mailing. As long as I get it though...
When does it hit news stands? I let my subscription lapse.

Sorry for the wait everyone. The magazines started shipping out on Dec 7. It should be on newsstands on Dec 27.
And like Stampie said, the new app is a GREAT way to get the latest issues as soon as possible.
