Every time I read this thread title, I think about the cheese fries at Gainesville.

You run at Hallett?
I haven't raced there for some years now, but Hallett is owned by family members. I was there for a visit last summer.
Connie and the whole bunch are top notch, A+ human beings.

Cool. I have been going over and watching for years. I love the place. People are always friendly. Finally did the HST a couple of times last year. I've run dirt track cars since the early 80's and after the first time on Hallett, I told the guys I run with that it was the most fun I've ever had with a fire suit on. Wish I had done it years ago.

Nope, the infield stand at Elkhart Lake. I forget the church that runs it but the food is delicious, sometimes homemade cake, cookies, or pie that came from someone's kitchen rather than a vender.
While a minor accommodation might need to be made for the volunteers age that operate it, their kindness and decency is second to none.
Plus I've aged along with those volunteers and am in awe that there are still working for their church all these decades Ive been going there.
