When it comes to dune buggies, why let VW have all the fun?

That seems to have been the thinking behind the unique machine Jeremy Randolph plans to enter into our Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge. Better known as pimpm3 on the forum, Jeremy purchased the BMW 325xi-turned-racing-kart from another Challenge competitor, Robbie Cutcliffe, after last year's event.

Having gotten a fun run in this thing, it handled far better than it had any right to- fix the brake bias and it's perfect.

I am famous. Sort of laugh...

Honestly I am bringing it because I don't have any better options at the moment and it's kind of the easy button.    I haven't really done much to it other than adding real headlights, a dashboard and a hood.

It was fun at the FIRM after challenge track day when Robbie let me take a few laps in it and I imagine it will be pretty great on the autocross course.

I am not going to do much to it other than a set of RT660'S on the wheels that came on it.
