the speedometer on the car that simply stops writing numbers at 85 is a great throw back to the 85mph speedo limits of that era.

this isn't a car i would lust to own... but I'll bet meeting an owner at a car show / track day event would be a memorable experience.
I do believe there will be one at The Challenge to get the I wants one fever?
I hate most vehicles from the 70s, and functionally Vegas are no better, but I've always liked their looks:

Do I need it? No.
Do I want it? Yes
Does it seem like a reasonable price, even if it needs Fuel filter, battery, and leaks oil like a sieve? Also, yes. I'm a little sad it's 3 hours away.

Ok, so it's not Craigslist but it is exactly what I want:

I want another Foxbody. But I want the least desirable version: a 4cyl convertible. I think it would be a cheap, fun cruiser. Maybe breathe on the suspension to make it not terrible and brace the body to make it unfloppy.
But alas, I already have enough projects at the moment that I'm ignoring.
I really like the look of these. The overall condition seems to be good, and a EZ30R would make it damn quick....

The first one makes me want to take up smoking and running moonshine:

The second just looks like a good deal on a neat car:

My second car was a 289/3spd swapped 62 comet which is mechanically the same car. Very friggin cool! That car was the slowest dang head turner.
I've owned 1960s Volvos and had good experiences. Now I keep seeing 1960s BMWs that push my button. Unfortunately, as a rarer car, I don't know if I'm ready for the parts cost/availability issues. I turned down a very good Datsun 1600 Roadster that was offered by a friend because their parts expense situation has gotten so far out of hand. This sucker looks very clean. The air-ride suspension is an interesting touch, and the 3.5 should make it rather quick for its age.

Yeah, the Ziata is pretty cool! It reminds me of the Fiat 124 Spider!
