From about five years ago. Was watching the full night of racing video when this crash caught my attention. Found this highlight clip. Driver got out rather quickly, and seemed in pretty good shape after, but definitely a wild ride.

The car being named "the bowler" seems appropriate.
Dirt track seems to be the one of only Motorsport that eclipses the chaos of spec Miata

Because stuff like that happens pretty regularly.
The dirt tracks that do have walls usually have to do it because the driveway, or a shop is off the corner, but most around here don't
Summerville Speedway was set up the same way except there were woods behind the track. Mostly pine in the 15'-20' range. Any car that went off the back half ended up in the woods. I remember watching at least 3 mow down trees.
Thunder Road in Barre, Vermont only recently added walls. Cars would disappear over the lip of the track.
