So, code 60 is pretty much like F1’s virtual safety car except instead of a percentage of full speed everyone runs at 60? Km/h or mph?
Yep. VIR does the same thing. Was a little weird at the Champcar race I did there last year. Mostly because most cars in Champ have no speedometer.
The Creventic series is really pretty cool. International series of 24 and a few 12-hour races, many of them split so you run 12, park overnight then run 12 more the next day. Teams pay an "all-inclusive" entry fee which gets them entry, pit space, passes, some hospitality, fuel, data and a set amount of container space for international transpo. The series handles pretty much everything. Show up with your team, they drop your container by your garage, and go.
The folks I've talked to say the costs are far more reasonable than IMSA or SRO at the moment, which is why you're seeing a lot of gentlemen racers bail from those series to the Creventic deal.
