If this upgrade also applies to the SportWagon version and the price stays the same as the current CTS's, I will be regretting buying my Wrangler very soon.
I personally don't understand. Unless there are packaging constraints for the V8 (uh, cause twin-turbos are easy to package...) they have a great line of LSX V8's that get decent mpg and keep with the heritage of GM. I guess the DI twin-turbo does make gratuitous peak torque even lower than a V8, but there is a reason why people like V8's and it just isn't for the power.
