Need to move a car from AZ to AL (or GA). Looking for a cost effective method. Open transport is fine. Needs to move within about 3 weeks.

i used uShip a bunch of years ago to ship a car from Colorado to Chicago and the experience was fine. How quickly do you need it moved? Like if it takes a week to get there is that okay?

if nothing else you can get a quote from them online.
Cars and Bids also offers a shipping service; https://carsandbids.com/shipping/ for something to consider
If you have the capital, buy and sell. When I moved from CA to TX, it was going to be thousands of dollars to rent a box truck for 5 days. I bought a $10k box truck, kept it for two years, rented it out to friends who were moving, used it as storage for a while, and sold it for $9800.
I'm sure you could find a stake body truck for $4000 and if you find a loading dock at both ends, you're good to go.
Another place to check is yesterdays tractors dot com and click on hauling schedule. Truck drivers and regular folks will post empty legs of their trips trying to pick up loads for a little coin. I had a 66 Bonneville taken from PA to CA for not much more than the cost of fuel because I found a guy on that hauling schedule who was driving out to pick up a Deusenberg for a museum and he was empty going west.

You will need to make a login, and technically it's just for tractors and parts, but using a little subterfuge you can usually find what you want.
If you are going to try Uship , how do you cut out the brokers ?
They seem to be much worse than they were 5 years ago when I used Uship last!
I'm assuming the vehicle in question can't be driven across. I was about to do a fly/drive for you. I had a blast doing it last year.
Man, if I had the time, I'd be shopping flights right now. An NB on an epic roadtrip? I'd be down for that.

Epic road trip vs theatre minion work...
the choice is yours. 😉
Did she reach out to you? She said she apologized she was really sick, but is working on a quote for you.
In reply to SKJSS (formerly Klayfish) :
We are texting, but she's been super slow to respond.
I know she's sick.
In reply to SV reX :
Curious if it's going ok? She has never let me down so I'm hoping this worked out.
