but that line still looks like it died on it's own to me, or at least wasn't cut... maybe he tightened the clamp too tight when putting it back on, or pulled it to the side pulling it off?
I have all ready thought of mixing up some ethonastyE36 M3 and filling the tank but I do not want to damage the tank, and I have have been putting physical distance between myself and this person. Time and money are a bitch.

If it was broken or cut doesn't matter- it could have broken/ split while removing from the hose barb.
