Or are they prototypical Raceland/Megan racing level of hard nope. I've had a set fall into my lap and am curious if they're worth throwing a known proper spring rate spring onto them, or if it's list locally and sell to the first drift kid who comes along.

$1000 coilovers. They will be middle road. See if they know to utilize the extended shock hats for the rear. Doubtful the valving is customized much beyond "let's make it work". "36 way adjustable" is a marketing term. They *might* be able to be rebuilt better. Springs are springs, hopefully rate matched. I see the typical Coilover body thread in design. Not great for travel, which the Miata needs.

That was the plan, I just figured I'd confirm. They were on a car at a yard that I grabbed a 4:2:1 stainless header and a stainless catback off of, and NIB prothane bushings from the trunk of, come to think of it, I should go back and check the sway bars that are on it. At yard prices for struts, I figured it'd be flippable as worst case scenario.

I think you mean a "stance-kid". They probably wouldn't cut it for a serious drifter. Their suspension setups are insane.

Knuckle and steering angle wise they definitely are, strut and spring wise, I've found less so with the local guys at least. But stance would definitely be more accurate.
