Howdy all. Damn the luck! One of my customers comes in the other day with "something to show me" outside (I work for Advance Auto). He knows I've been looking for a NA MX5 for a while on the cheap. Lo and behold, I step into the early evening light to see one complete '93 MX5 with minor front end damage and an unmolested front third of a donor car. It's been cut right behind the windshield posts. No drivetrain in donor. He tells me "$800 bucks and they're all yours." How can I turn that down? I'm in FL and they're both southern cars so virtually no rust! The engine runs but obviously the car won't go very far without rad/fans but the donor has both. I had one of these gems about 10 years ago and I know I'm preaching to the choir but driving even a mild MX5 is the most fun I've ever had with my clothes on. Once I have my new time wasters, I'm sure I'll be putting quite a bit of parts in the classifieds.

Pics will follow as soon as the damn thing(s) is/are securely within the bunker. Dude's only in town 3 effing days a month, so it/they will be here within 4 weeks I can't wait to dig into them. It's been too long since an MX5 has skinned my knuckles. I'm afraid that the TR3 will get jealous.....(and blood starved). The hell with that... They will have to learn to get along.

Derick, watch Craigslist. These things are a dime a dozen. Don't lose hope. A lot of them ended up in boneyards with nothing more than minor body damage. If you're "lucky" like me and live in a typical tin top town, no one of the male persuasion wants anything to do with a Miata.
