A guy in my old neighborhood had one. I thought it was a kit car for a couple years, but nope, it was legit. We actually were in a possition to race his vs the Mustang GT that I had, but the police pulled up behind us. That would have been bad. I never ran into him on the street or anywhere for that matter, again.
It was always a favorite of mine, so go ahead and get it please.
I always feel like a Countach is in reality a fairly useless car. I would rather have a Ferrari 308 some '80s tastic but actually drivable. If I was going to pay that much for a Lambo make mine a Diablo or Murcielago.

gotta love US bumper laws...
I have been on the fence with my saab.. it is also black with a tan interior.. after seeing those pictures, I think I need to paint the super aeros gold
To me that is one of the top 10 coolest cars ever. I don't care if it is crap to drive, just look at it. Swap some Euro bumpers on it and be the the coolest guy in town.

Not saying I disagree with you, but I can't really see the 308 as an alternative to the Countach. I would have to cross shop Testarossas, and the Ferrari would probably still be my choice.

Yes the Testarossas is more of an alternative but I would buy a 308.
I have not liked any lambo post miura.. all the rest are "trying too hard"
Mostly in trying too hard to be ugly and crap to drive. I would take a 308 over ANY post Miura Lamborghini

Except the Miura was crap to drive too.
The new Lambos from all reports I have seen really nice driving cars.
