You'd be in luck to find a salvage title cls55 in that price range.
True, but the non-AMGs are squarely in that range. Lots of CLS500s for $8-9k Like this one
Didnt the 06 or 07 get the new M273 which had 388hp vs the M113 306hp?
I have a ZHP sedan that I'm getting ready to sell...

This IS the answer.
Would you like to buy one? ;)
Dangit... supercharged VDP locally, but salvage title
Edit: I just called and according to the guy selling it, he bought it at insurance auction and fixed it at his own shop. He said fender, hood, and inner fender were all he did.
Still, if I ever sell it, having a branded title makes everyone run.
He also has this XJR with a clean title.
In reply to Curtis :
Much prefer the x308 xjr. Trying not to be biased lol.

Be biased. I have little to no experience with them.
I like the classic look of the 308, but the ones I've driven felt cramped. The 350 seems to have solved that issue and kept 90% of the classic style.
But seriously... tell me about the two and why you prefer the 308

Damn... that XJR in Reading looks nice for the money. Could probably haggle them down to the Atlanta car's price.
I need to get the fleet running and sorted out... so I have room for more.
I prefer the x308 because they're smaller and has less issues. The x350 is bigger and if you're a bigger guy then it will def fit you better! The only expensive thing they really have going against them is the air suspension. But there's no generation of xjr that doesn't have some inherent issues though lol.
My personal opinion, the x308 looks way better. I don't like how tall the x350 looks, I dont like it's taillights, or its stance. I do like the x350 center console better than the x308 though. The x308 has this subtle and lean handsomeness to it, the x350 just looks kind of like everything else, a little too bubblelike for a jag.
But, I also owned my x308 for 2 years and love it. I will eventually put it up for sale this summer. The cool thing is, you can buy an x308 or x350 xjr for about the same price these days.
I do prefer the 308 for looks.
I think I'm going to Reading soon to look at both. They are both x350s, but it will maybe give me perspective on how much I want the super VDP compared to the XJR. That will be a side by side comparison of x350s in both forms. That will tell me if I want that XJR with the clean title, or if I want to hold out for a Super VDP that doesn't have a branded title.
I might get there and realize that the 5" of difference doesn't help, in which case I just need an XJR
Would you consider something like this or this?
I dont know how reliable e60 550i or those A8's are. I have to say though, the A8 sure is handsome.
I haven't really warmed up to the E60 like I had hoped, much like I haven't grown to love the E39.
The Audi is a sexy, tidy, handsome car, but a little too tidy I think. The X308 and the W221 are just such a statement that I'm leaning that way pretty hard. Still open to suggestions, though.
I used to HATE the w221 looks. Now I love it.
