Most of the big clubs in our part of Florida are based in Orlando, Jacksonville or the Titusville area, so those of us in and around Daytona Beach are sometimes left out. So I started a club for those of us in the area: http://www.daytonasportscarclub.com
Yes, it goes to a Facebook page, but that seemed like a quick and easy way to do it. The plan is to operate as a clearing house for nearby events and also give those in the area a way to link up. Obviously there are no dues involved, and it's open to everyone.
Cool. And my brother just posted some video from this weekend's Crash-A-Rama outing. (Okay, technically it was a family outing, but we came home with a new member and a real plan for the club.)

Joined. I think I was number 5.
Any plans for DSCC events? Maybe monthly meets at least?

Sure. I think you just have to say "I'm a member."
I realize that not everyone is on Facebook, but it was a quick and easy way to put up a site.
