After selling her old 2002 Impreza, DD#1 bought this from a friend of ours. 2000 Miata:
- 130,000 miles
- very good maintenance history - recent radiator / headgasket / TB / WP / all fluids, previous clutch, lots of records
- fresh black paint
- nice interior and recent top
- Torsen
- Koni yellows
- Fresh RS-3s on NB wheels
- Fresh all-seasons on hollow-spoke daisies
PO bought it a couple years ago from PPO who is a nationals-level autocrosser, after the HG popped. PO is a body man and mechanic, who did the HG refresh and related work. He also cut the small amount of rust out of the rear arches and resprayed the whole thing in 2-stage black. Underneath it has a small amount of surface rust but nothing major, and nothing on the body. I'd call it clean for this part of the country.
She picked it up last weekend and she is practicing her manual driving this week (very limited experience). First autocross with it is on Saturday.
Price was pretty solid, considering the condition and maintenance history. Well under twice the asking on that bucket 1990 I posted about previously, for a lot more car.
