SCC 323GTX articles

They only have parts 3 and 4, but the site should give you some ideas.

The VR4 is heavy because of all the doodads. Extra sound deadening, suede door panels, leather seats, sunroof, body cladding, heavy bumpers, all wheel steering, ABS, gauges that have a button to change the color, etc.

You can get a 1G DSM stripped down pretty far and still be streetable. ~2750 is pretty easily attainable without sacrificing a lot of comfort and streetability.

And of course there is always the bastard CSM swapped cars that are super light.

Yes. They were just N/A. Got the 3sfe. Gutless, with relatively fragile drivetrains. At least, compared to the Celica alltrac.
No, it has the exact same transaxlefercase and rear end that was put in the Celicas. The only thing that's different is the front half-shafts, where they use the regular 4-cylinder Camry units.

Sorry, was referring to the tranny. My bad. Unless i'm sorely mistaken, it's not the E15x that we all like. Rear track is narrower on the Camrys, too. By almost 2 inches a side.
