Don't think that will help it make up the 10 secs. to the Audi... Or even the 5 secs. to the slowest LMP1 Lola.

Okay, a lot more frontal area. I forgot the new regs require more visibility to stop the LMPs from running over Ferraris constantly.
The new metallic surface treatment seems entirely appropriate to the new shape. Now I just see it as aluminum panels...hand beaten...with an ugly stick.
I'll be the lone dissenter and say I kinda like it.
I don't seeing it hurting aero, I see it improving aero at speed.
Silver is definitely better than flat black but I think a bright red or yellow would be better yet.

A lot more frontal area, but it looks like the air flow should be a lot cleaner around the cockpit.
I still think they should paint the damn thing neon yellow or orange after last year.
