Detailed my Benz today and about passed out from heat and humidity. Here's the results. I usually do this once a year. I've noticed rust is spreading more. This has been a daily driven car for me for the last 9 years. Considering how long I've had it and what I paid for it its basically free transportation. Its at 280K now.

Great work!... Detail details / products used?
My aunt had one of those back in the day, floor pan rust finally 'killed' it at around 370k miles...
Sorry, products used, and my general detailing regimen, are as follows:
Wash car with warm water and dish soap (Ajax today) and a sponge.
Polish car with Meguiar's NXT Tech-Paste by hand with those circular applicators.
Back to Black on the black rubber parts.
Turtle Wax chrome polish on the chrome.
Wheels with Meguiar's "any wheel" cleaner.
A Turtle Wax protectorant on the tires.
Window cleaner on the windows, then Rain-X.
Noting too fancy but this does a great job whenever I do it on any car.
Tell us more about the car!
FYI black Kiwi liquid shoe with the integrated foam applicator polish STOMPS back to black for black bumpers and trim. Put it on heavy, let it sit, buff it off. If the color is uneven or streaked, apply it again.

Beautiful W123. I've always wanted one, but the timing is always wrong.
Very nice!
I wish my Wife's W123 was as nice.
Seeing that dash makes me wish that I could have saved my 107023.
My camaro doesn't look that nice and it just hit 87k. Nice work.

Well you almost inspired me to get off the couch and clean both of mine up. I use Meguiar's NXT liquid wax, Back to Black, and Meguiar's Any Wheel Cleaner on mine too, but they don't look that good. I must need to switch to Ajax for the car wash.
I'm becoming more and more enamored of these cars. A friend is buying a nice 240D (with a stick, no less) today and I'm probably going to look it over for her tonight.
Anyway, that's a clean, nice car at any mileage. At 280k it's gorgeous.
