Devil in the Dark @ NJMP

Anyone going? I'll be racing with Long Road Racing in a SpecMiata. This will be my first endurance race, hopefully more to come!

There is about a 10% chance I will be down there helping the Team Iron Dragon. I have work related comitments that will most likley prevent me from going.

Now that I'm aware of it... there is chance I'll be there in a helmet next year. That is as awesome as 12 hours at the Point (also a goal for next year)

Well, not the results we were looking for, however it was a blast and great learning experience none the less. Team Long Road Racing, with Tyler Cooke, Steve Phillips, and myself dominated the first 7 hours. We were 3rd overall with a 3 lap lead on the other SpecMiata's. Then during Steve's second stint the LF ball joint broke, which took out the hub and front wheel. Once that was fixed, the air fuel meter started acting up during my stint due to a broken mount and was stalling out the car. I almost didn't make it back to the pit. A few zip ties later and that was fixed. Tyler brought it home to the checkered flag. Great driving by all the drivers and the crew was fantastic!
