Did the forums header just change?

Is it the security I am running through or did the forums header just change?

I used to have 4 buttons that were Latest Topics, Top Rated, New Topics and Your Posts.

now unless I am at the main forum page they are gone.

It changed for me as well.

I will be the first to complain. I don't like it. Very difficult to navigate.

Yup, and some typefaces throughout, as well.

It sure did. It's phase one of a new design for the website.

May I ask how it makes the site more difficult to navigate? All feedback is good feedback.

The forum button moved over. It's a struggle to accept change. Must re-train my automatic cursor movement.

The menu button ( 3 horizontal bars on the top right) don't do anything when i click on them while using the site on my phone.

only thing amiss is that clicking on a thread the latest post text is displayed but the poster name, date, time and avatar are hidden under the top header so ya gotta scroll to see who

I'm also getting this. All the menu header at the top does is reduce the viewable area of the site right now. Can it be made to hide unless at the top?

I use the forum button to jump back to the front page frequently. It's nice that it's no longer right above the "Sign Out" button, now I just have to retrain my mouse hand.

My only complaint is if I go to the top to click on Forums (text link, not in the black header) to go back to the main forum page, if I go slightly too high this massive drop-down box covers everything up, under Features. Not the end of the world, slightly annoying.

Thanks, guys. I just reported this issue to our developers.

I thought I was going crazy, couldn't remember the header looking like that.

I used the four buttons across the top for everything. I could navigate via the drop down on the top right, but in some situations the drop down button isn't available either.

I'm an angry old white guy and I don't like change. Please put it back.

Where can't you see the four buttons or drop-down? I wasn't aware that the update changed any of the layout for the forum itself, just the header for now.

It looks like clearing your browser's cache solves this issue.

I like it. I finally added some updates to my garage since it's now in the dropdown menu at the top of my screen.

I'm a fan too. Seems more slick overall.

No usability issues on a windows phone.

Changed for sure. Took me a moment to login.

Tell the devs to cache-bust the CSS and JS. They should know what that means.

FWIW, I am not a fan of sticky headers in general, and this one is no exception. I don't need any of that visible all the time, taking up my screen. I know how to get to it with a single mouse or keyboard click.

Also note that it appears to be the wrong size if one doesn't allow third-party font loading (and I don't).

Also - when I even get close to mouseover on the FEATURES menu it busts open with a massive screen filling disaster of a sub-menu. Maybe de-sensitize that a bit eh? I've never had any inclination to click the thing... and it was better when I needed to.

Ditch the mouseover and return to a positive input from the user.

I can see my avatar next to the Subscribe button in the upper right corner.

I've been a subscriber since it was called Auto-X and I know what my avatar looks like. I'd rather have a Latest Topics button there.

I like the Latest Topics also. A button on the bar would be used a lot.
