Interesting idea and I'd like to have them just for the novelty. But did you notice the leather-clad totem poles that the seatbelts are attached to? And the fact that they have to stop OUT, OVER the sill now?

I always thought the Corvette Ramarro was a cool design

And the BMW Z1's drop down doors.

I'm curious how compatible this technology is with side-impact standards.
