Which do you consider as "the big car"?

currently own four: two v8's, both carbd. two four cylenders. one flat, one normal. two sticks two automatics 2 rwd, 1 fwd, 1 awd red, silver, blue, and whatever color krylon is on sale (currently od green) 2 cloth, one vynil, one leather/vynil. 3 American, one Japanese built in America.
im not diverse enough yet. still need a rotary, and electric, and a rocket powered car.
Let's see. I have a 5-cylinder, a 4-cylinder, and a rotary. All wheel drive, front wheel drive, rear wheel drive.
But they all have manual transmissions. Two are 2-door hatches and the other is a Wagon (capitalized because you always honor the awesome). Two of the cars are infected with rear disk brakes, two have manual steering, two have manual windows, two have hydraulic clutches, two have CIS, two have current registration, two are currently not running, two have a funny VW/four ring logo on all of the parts (while the other has NSU cast into some of the engine bits) two are black.
The distribution of the odd man out is fairly random, although I should note that the car that does not have CIS or pistons or VW/Audi parts is the one that is running.
5-cylinder blew up last week. Down to only one running car. That makes me nervous. Freakin' unreliable piston engines...
5 (technically 4*) + SWMBO
4 (3*) are silver (the three dodges are the same paint code)
3 (2**) are FWD
1 is RWD
1 (2**) are AWD/4WD
1 85*, 1 88, 2 89, 1 90, 1 98
5 (4*) are dodge, 1 is Olds
(*) I just recently (like 4 days ago) sold the 85 omni GLHT I had bought in Feb.
(**) The van is a FWD being swapped to AWD
We certainly don't.
Red '90 Miata track rat
Red '06 Miata
Black '10 Mazda 3
Didn't mean to end up an all Mazda household!
Two vehicles.
Both with forced induction V8s
Both made in Kentucky
Both with leather
Both with over 350 horse and 495 torque. (the Corvette makes more horsepower, the pickup makes more torque)
Both with aftermarket power upgrades
Both with tinted windows
I guess I don't practice diversity.
3- Vehicles
2- I-4's
1- V-twin
1- 4 door
1- 2 door
1- 0 door
2 - rwd
1 - fwd
2- 5spd manuals
1- 6spd auto
1- single seat
1- 2 seats
1- 4 seats
1- Korean
1- German
1- American
1- black
1- red
1- plastidip white
8 cars
2 Frrrrench
2 svedisch
3 British
1 Japanesey
All FWD
All four cylinder except the VQ30 powered one.
That same odd one out is the only one with a slushbox and working ac. Need I say it is SWMBO's car...
You need a rotary.
My diversity:
1. Turbo Rotary (FD)
2. Supercharged 1.6L 4 (Mini S)
3. Electric (Smart)
4. Diesel V8 turbo (Ford)
5. NA 4 (Miata)
Oh, FWD sucks donkey
Four two-cylinders. (Honda CX/GL variants)
One four-cylinder (Toyota Tacoma)
Two six-cylinders ('48 Chevrolet and '96 F-150)
Two eight cylinders ('70 lincoln and '90 F-250, both 460's)
Everything but the 460's has a manual gearbox.
No electrics.
NO FWD because it's soulless and wrong.
At my house currently:
4 and 5 cylinder diesel, 4 cylinder gas both carb and efi.
One auto, 5 manual, one 4 speed, the rest 5.
2 rwd, 2 FWD, 2 awd.
One American, one Japanese, 4 German.
4 white, one brown, one green.
Family has one German (540i 6speed), one German/British thingy (Mini Cooper stick) and two Koreans (98 Kia Sephia auto and 98 Daewoo Nubira motorswapped monstrosity). Really hoping to add either the world's nicest 80 Corolla or a Genesis Coupe in the next year or so. I don't do autoboxes if I can help it.
So one v8, three sticks, 10 camshafts, one slushbox, three inline fours, zero carbs or rotors. Green Bimmer, white and black Daewoo, powder blue and black Mini, silver Kia.
Six TR8s and a couple of TR7s just to break it up a bit. Also have a couple of MGBs, a BMW 2002, a Ford truck, a Ford car, and a Mazda car.

Ha! You're no fun!
One situation where I'm especially glad I'm single again... having to add in the ex-g/f's fleet would have made my list a bit longer.

As with anything, what you get out of something is what you put into it. My Golf (A2) was probably the most fun car I've ever had. It's much of the reason why I bought this GTI a few months ago... because if an A2 is fun then an A1 must be super-fun because cars always get less fun the newer they are.

Hmm, 3 cars.
4cyl N/A, 4cyl turbo, 5cyl turbo.
RWD, FWD, AWD.
Roadster, sedan, wagon.
White, red, red.
Black cloth, black leather, tan leather.
5spd, 5spd, 6spd (all manual)
Japanese, Swedish, Swedish.
Current household RUNNING fleet
3 hondas
2 accords, 1 civic
2 I4, 1 V6
2 auto, 1 5spd
2 sedans, 1 coupe
'03, '07, '09
2 usa build, 1 canada build
My car history
4 cars
2 honda, 2 dodge
2 neons, 1 accord, 1 civic
3 2L I4/5spd, 1 1.8L I4/5spd

I did really, really enjoy my 850 Turbo wagon. It's just that I have no FWD in the fleet at the moment and I like to stir the pot a little.

Well I consider the Miata the big car but I drive the Mini when I need extra cargo space.
4 vehicles.
2 6 cylinder, 2 4 bangers.
3 inline, 1 V. 3 front engine, 1 mid.
3 gas, 1 diesel.
One turbo, one supercharged.
2 EFI, 1 mechanical fuel injection, 1 carb.
2 rear wheel drive, 1 front, 1 awd.
1 car under100k, 1 100-200K, 1 200-300k, 1 300k+ miles.
All manual.
I never thought about my automotive diversity like that before.

Nah, it's cool, I dig what you're saying.
I increased my diversity rating a couple of weeks ago by buying a German car. (635CSi)
That gives me a 8 Americans, 1 German and one thoroughly confused Japanese/British blend.
1 no piston, 6 V6s, 2 V8s, and 1 I6. I have 2 5 speeds, the rest are slush boxes. Displacements from 1.1L to 7.5L. One supercharged, the rest are NA. 6 white, 3 green and a red. 6 Fords, 1 Chevy, 1 Jeep, 1 BMW and one Abomination.
If you count the non running cars, I can add in a couple of Japanese cars as well. Another 0 piston and a 4 banger. Both Mazdas.
Everything I own has at least 150K on it. Several over 300K and one over 400K.
