Anyone make their own?  I am thinking of putting individual throttle bodies  for my jet boat, and seems a barrel design for a v8 or v6 might be easier to build.

Wanted to add that mostly jet boat goes from idle to full throttle, not very often is it run part throttle

A barrel valve with a V-notch like the one in the video has more linear response, but on the other hand they tend to have more friction than a butterfly valve.  If your application is a jet boat where you don't spend much time at part throttle, there may not be any advantage.
