Would this be able to evaluate individual runners in an intake manifold design? I am trying to think of a way to do this but so far have come up with no ideas. I just had the thought that you can block off and test the runners of a manifold one at a time, would this be sufficient?

I don't remember where I saw it, but I found DIY plans that were fairly cheap.

I'm new to posting on this forum but have been a member and followed along lurking, since I run a flowbench forum based around the DIY'ers let me weigh in on this post.

Please do not take my post as a commercial posting (SPAM) as I am like most other people here working out of my garage and trying to help others along the way. I have an old 85 Fiero GT I dabble with but don't race. I'm not new to GRM as I have been readings GRM since it was Auto-X.

There are quite a few sets of plans floating around, most have been discussed in great detail as to their +/-'s on my flowbench forum along with the "fixes" for getting them to work repeatably with good numbers. The PHR/MSD style plans are probably the most well know and a few of these have actually been successfully built but not without a few changes. I also offer a set of plans that can be built using simple hand tools uses digital gauges and is capable of flowing +400cfm @ 28" and is as accurate as any commercial flowbench on the market all for less money than the $2009 challenge. You can also build a bench without a set of plans just from all the info found on my forum.

If you are serious about building a flowbench take some time to read my flowbench forum at Flowbench Technology it has members from all over the world and all venues of motorsports (from DIY'ers to Industry Professionals) weighing in.

The forum is free to anyone, all I ask is members send me a personal email requesting membership so I can keep the SPAM/Bots out (I'm not a computer whiz so this is the easiest way I have found to do that). There is a lot to read without becoming a member though.

If anyone has any questions I would be more than willing to offer any advice I can.
