Some of the best tools I have are DIY custom things that are either one offs for a single fix. Like the Windsor optioned Expedition Pit-man Arm separator tool I made from a pickle fork.

I found this cool pipe beading tool yesterday. For the DIY forced induction it looks to be the E-ticket for keeping the piping together under boost.

I think I am going to have to make one of these.

There are others out there lets see them!!!!

He needs to patent that and sell the idea to Horrible Freight.

I agree, that needs a patent.

Wow, that's great. I'd seen the version with just a ground down vise grips, but these seem to be a good improvement to that idea.

I wonder if someone could find a small hydraulic ram and add some bearings to make it a bit easier to use.

There isn't a greater motivator of inventive juices than the 'ol pocketbook! Kudos to colt 4g63also, he saw a problem and found a simple,"frugal" fix. Hey, I just noticed he's from my old neighborhood.... I'll have to look him up! Thanks for linking that, Dean1484

Now that I have this gold nugget of info... where do you buy those sexy bead clamps that come on Porsche exhausts at wholesale prices?

I've never used them myself, but they seem popular with the DIY turbo guys.
