Its self explanatory, can these be DIY self built or is it just cheaper and easier and more practical to just pony up and buy a used one?

I looked around and new ones are $3k easy. I used to have one to use at my disposal but that time has passed. I miss it and how amazing it cleans.

Thoughts from the brain trust?

You can use a tiger torch and a copper coil in a steel drum with a regular pressure washer but the fine print always says not to run hot water through them. Pretty warm water though is ok, and then add the siphon for detergent.

Craigslist. I bought an old rental unit for around 400 bucks

But a nice hot water heater and a shop vac would get you most of the way there.

Or something like a quality pump sprayer with metal tank and a hot plate.

I use laundry detergent in my steam cleaner.

Which is a thermax cp3

Yeah, I'm thinking that pressurized steam may not be something you want to be DIY'ing.

You'll need to log in to post.
