I have decided to get Koni SA with H&R Race Springs for my E46 330Ci. Do I need camber plates? This car will mostly be used as my DD and maybe 5-6 autocrosses every year. Tire rack sells Eibach Alignment Kit (http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?&make=Eibach&model=Recommended+Align.+Kit&group=Recommended+Align.+Kit&autoMake=BMW&autoModel=330Ci+Sport+Package&autoYear=2001&autoModClar=&partNum=5.72080K&perfCode=S), will this work or I don't even need either this or camber plates since I'll only be autocrossing it for just 5-6 times a year?

Also, I have decided to get Koni SA and H&R Race Springs but to be honest I've never ridden in a car with this combination so I am wondering if any of you guys have any experience with this combination and how much stiffer it is compared to stock sport package suspension? Thanks all.

You won't want excess camber for dd. Tire wear. So something adjustable would be desireable.

You don't "need' camber plates. You also won't get excess wear from camber if you keep toe close to zero.

BMWs work much better with a lot of front camber. If you get a good set of plates (Vorshlag) you can set a "street" camber setting of around -2 with zero toe and mark it on the plate. When you get to the autocross, jack up the front end, knock the camber plates all the way negative (which will also give you a good toe setting for racing) and go run. Once done, move them back and be on your way.
