That is absolutely fabulous! I love the prancing horse emblem in the grill.
I don't understand the automatic.
Drop an LSx with a 6 speed and get rid of that carbuerator and it would be sweet.
Saab Sonnet meets what?
Also DO WANT!!!! More then then that other one.

An original Ghibli with twin-turbo's would be so much more interesting:
Knock this E36 M3 off!!!
I have a job and need to get things done today, and not play on the web (boss speak).

That looks kind of fugly to me. The red one is much better.
He makes a big deal about the wiring, but to me, I see nothing color-coded, nothing loomed, nothing soldered, no plugs. Perhaps I am being picky, but it could be better.

Most drag cars use automatics, so it's not surprising that a street car built like a drag car would have one.
And as fabulous as the LSX is, I think the craze has gotten out of hand. There's nothing wrong with the old SBC and carb. Certainly not in a drag car and not enough to justify spending that kind of coin and then changing it all. Just MO.
There's plenty wrong with the old SBC and carb. Certainly the carcosts too much to justify spending that kind of coin and then changing it all. Just MO.
There fixed it for you.
I lived thru the carb era and if I never see another carb I will die happy. Carbs and points meant your car ran right for only a small period of time and then you were out there adjusting and fiddling - AGAIN!
It's hard to believe the guy spent all that money to make a dragster with that short & narrow of a wheelbase. And he did it with a car that was designed to turn.

What exactly is wrong with the SBC, the engine that has dominated hot rodding for 50 years?
Just because it has been replaced doesn't mean that it's suddenly junk.
Ever seen an Anglia drag car? Not the first short wheelbase drag car, and certainly not the first corner turner to be made into a drag car.
Yes, EFI is better, at least in theory. But the biggest problem with carbs is people that don't know how to work on them.
Anyways, I just expressed my opinion. In the future, feel free to express yours without "fixing" mine, K?
