Go to the CMP fall race, which is in two weeks. You'll find a bunch of teams from the area there. There's an awesome parade on Friday night in the town of Camden, SC.
Is that Chump or Lemons schedule that one is on?

Testing/practice is Friday, race is Saturday and Sunday. Once testing on Friday is over, the cars all load up onto their trailers and head to Camden. Park the trucks/trailers in a huge field. The race cars then do a 2x2 parade down "Main St" in Camden and park there like a car show. Everyone hangs out for a few hours, there's food, etc... It's a blast.
Thats a "mom free weekend" until Sunday but its about a 3hr drive for us so would need to consider how the kiddos would do
How old? Lots of kids at Lemons races but it's an active race paddock so you need hands on them or they need to be older with a solid head on their shoulders. It might be a lot of fun for them. It is noisy though so bring ear plugs.

We have taken them to VIR for Pirelli World Challenge and some Cycle racing before.
