lets see.
made in the 1985. traveled through time. time circuits damaged in 1885. sat preserved in a mine for 100 years. vehicle repaired in 1955 with then-current technology. fuel line damaged.
presumably sat around universal studios not being used for 25 years.
400-600k?
seems a little steep.

ONE?
I have to say that if I were the eccentric old man that I want to be, I'd buy that in a heartbeat. The price doesn't scare me off, but it does mean that I can't own it right now.
I bought the HotWheels BTTF version from the San Diego Comic Convention since that is one car I only ever want to own a scale model of.

Yeah that's what I said.
Seriously, it is a certified movie car. I could see it easily going for $40k-$60 at auction. That may sound too expensive for everyone on this board, but for a genuine movie car, that's probably on the low end. $400k-$600k is waaaay overestimating.
