Saw it on reddit, thought you guys might enjoy / lament it.
it's just a new truck.. if it were an old powerwagon, that would be something different. I just hope the fuel and oil didn't pollute anything
Just going off the claims on the forum, everyone kept saying it was the new power wagon. No clue personally. Still, sucks for the poor thing.
High likelihood that it was a pre production test truck of some sort that is wearing mfg plates and was destined to be crushed anyway. They'll make more of them.
You guys act like it's just some stickered Ram 1500. This is the Rubicon of pick-up trucks. 383 HP, 400 torques, 37" tires, locking diffs in the solid axles, 4:1 t-case, sway bar disconnects.
I'm not saying I'm mourning it's passing, but it's a heckuva truck. It's more capable than any Power Wagon of the past.

LOL. No Cummins, no care when it comes to those things.
Now if it was a Hi Lux, they could have just beat it with a hammer and it would have started right up!
Dang man, I thought the Roll Tide players had eaten a Dodge as a publicity stunt.
If it was made before 73 and its a dodge. Just go ahead and feed them all to the sea.
I'd say pre 98 12 valve Diesels but cummins is just an engine it has no affiliation with Dodge so I say crush em all

It's a heck of a truck, but you can order a new one at the dealer. Can't order one of these:
Frank, you can keep your Ford. I don't ask for them all to be crushed, but wouldn't be heartbroken either.
I love Ford brother it's true. However. Everyone can't afford it. Just keep the shell going is all that I ask.
It would have been a great advertisement if they had filmed the thing getting submerged, and then resurrected it hilux-style
According to Jalopnik they were filming a commercial. I only know this because I haven't removed them from my Facebook feed.
In reply to JoeyM:
I dont think that truck will ever start again, let alone drive, without replacing all of the wiring and anything with solid state electronics in it.

Not surprising. The TG hilux was a diesel. I don't know that one was.
Jeez, dark housing headlights surrounded by bright chrome and silver, the red grille insert, all the Raptor wannabe stickers... did they already give that truck to some high school kid with too much money or what? Yuck. Cool trucks but, damn, trying to many things, doesn't seem thought out at all.
