I am findong contradictory information from parts suppliers and manuals regarding the differences in the hydraulic brake system of the 2003 durango and earlier versions. I'd like to find out from someone with access to real information what the master cylinder bore is for each and whether or not there is a residual pressure valve in the older drum system anywhere. Anyone?

I don't have any access to the dealer info network anymore.

Up through 00 is 4883814AA

01-03 is 5093049AA

Not a Chrysler tech any more, those are from Mitchell and double checked with Identifix. I can't say which is which, but one will have a 1-1/8 bore and one a 1-1/16 bore. I remember considering them as an upgrade when I put 1 ton axles(and brakes) under my 03 TJ.
