It is 11:00 and it is already over 90 deg with a blazing sun. I need a garadge with ac. Hell I would take a big car port and a big shop fan.

Good to hear, my daughter wants to see it.

Didn't make Cars n Coffee, had to fix a fuel leak on the Cobra. It's done and the owner is happy again!
Now looking slightly bumblebee-like
Waiting for a new air guide to come from Mazda, then it's going back together.

Thanks guys. If i can ever get my computer to cooperate, ill have a full writeup in the drivabeater thread.
Im happy for a rustoleum paint job sprayed outdoors on a sunny day by an incompetent redneck.
In reply to Pete Gossett: I'm impressed Pete. I looked at the Atomic from MSD and the Sniper from Holley but chose the FITech. I bought the 600HP version in black, non-boosted version. I chose to replace the fuel tank and of course bought a new fuel tank, sender, lines, and filter. I'll update my build thread with more details. Just got back from a 15 mile shakedown run and everything looked, smelled, and ran well.
Dad was pleased we got the back window and radiator in his Corvette too.

Holy E36 M3. I won!
I spent almost a grand at summit racing yesterday . When you get faster you need more expensive safety gear.
Datsun almost ready to race
Put new seat foams in my 1990 Volvo 240 wagon, wired same wagon for trailer lights, and took the 1966 Jaguar for a test drive on the new tires.
So, just an average weekend. The wife didn't feel like taking her '68 Camaro out for a drive last night, even though I offered. I think she was too tired.
Replaced the front wheel bearings and hubs on the Tacoma. It was my second time (75k and 145k). Not an awful job.
Got the Garage cleared out to house the new Miata inside. Got the Homelink all programs too so I don't have to worry about the garage door remote. Accidentally lit the tires up coming home from the Grocery store. The Wife was not too amused with that. I think she is warming up to it though. She called the car almost comical. Like too much of everything then she finished it off by saying that means in your mind it must be just right
Last weekend I started my project up for the first time: https://youtu.be/D-W2yUbDldI
But it wouldn't idle. This weekend I pulled the carbs and found the stuck float metering valve, got the rear butterfly to close a little better, and set the float levels.
Hopefully it will idle now, and I can get the timing dialed in, play with the curve a bit, and synchronize the carbs. Still have a bunch of interior, door stuff in the doors, etc before it hits the road.

Hours of stunning roads and scenery bookending an excellent stay on the beach. Here was the drive:
And the accommodations:
Bmwcca autocross today, threat of rain kept the turnout lower, ft 6 runs in and was home just after 1. Course was a bit damp at first but dried up after a few runs. Took at least that many runs to get used to the new rear sway on the mazda3.
Looked at an F150 Raptor, decided that I'd rather have the same sort of noise coming from under the hood of a Mustang. But I didn't buy one of those either.
Fired up my wife's R129 500SL after it lay dormant for over a year. Looks like I should be able to drive it to a friend's shop to get it checked over[1] rather than having to tow it. Plus it makes nice V8 sounds.
[1] That'll be the second car after the MR2 where I get to pay someone to fix the mess the repairs from another shop created.

You can make a fairly effective swamp cooler with a box fan. Need to live in a dry climate for it to work well though.
