How do you make a roll cage from a Credit Default Swap? I could see "rolling" the debt, but not into a cage.
As I read it, it's availability geographically. Rally america basically re wrote the fia rules using DOM replacing CDS accounting for the difference. Walter would be a good one to ask.
While the manufacturing process for each is completely different, the end product is essentially equivalent for the vast majority of applications. As noted, most of it comes down to availability.
Response from a Rally America tech = Not enough difference to worry about.
