Here's a previous thread I posted recently about my 940 wagon...

https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/what-are-the-chances-someone-in-cincinnati-could-h/120144/page1/

Soooo here is what I'm thinking, and I'm just spitballing here.. what if I "temporarily donate" (this is a phrase I just dreamed up) this car to anyone in Cincy / Dayton who wants to make a challenge car out of it? The catch is, you have to put a V8 in it and you have to let me help of course. Ill pay for all car building expenses. So you personally don't have to spend any money which obviously means you don't have to concern yourself with spending over $2016! This may run afoul of the challenge rules, I really don't know, I don't worry about such things, I have no use for rules.

You get to take the car to the challenge, beat on it to the point it doesn't break, and then bring it back to me in one piece. This means you get the experience the joys of the challenge without the ownership. A rental Challenge car if you will.

Now, I am well deserving of, and ready for any internet beat down that you can throw at me for coughing up such a scheme so have at it.

This is where I would have an issue. Trying not to breake it while racing is not racing.

I would break it. If I was at the 6500 red line and 5 car lengths until the line. Lifting is not an option.

ok, I should lower the requirements, if you break it you still have to bring it back (and help me fix it???)

You'll need to log in to post.
